Ventures with Deb FAQ
Health & Safety
Q. What are the protocols in order to keep us healthy & safe during our ventures?
A. To ensure the health & safety of all our travelers all guests are required to be fully vaccinated (at least two full weeks prior to travel. This could mean booster shots be required depending on your vaccination status & destination policy changes.
A. Our Ventures have always been limited to an exclusive intimate group of people. This ensures we are able to opt for private transfers, tours & when possible stay in small boutique hotels.
A. Our partners on the ground in all our destinations are enforcing enhanced cleaning & safety procedures per government guidelines.
A. We will assist you in securing the necessary COVID tests for a safe return home.
Cancelation Policy
Q. What happens if a Ventures gets canceled or I am unable to make it to our Ventures for personal reasons?
A. If a Ventures needs to be canceled for any COVID 19 reasons, we will reschedule this itinerary for a future date OR your funds will be applied to a future Ventures with Deb.
A. Cancellations for any other circumstances need to be reviewed on an individual basis as described within your mandatory travel insurance policy provisions.
A. Your $770 deposit to secure your space is non-refundable under any circumstances.
Venture Payments
Q. Am I able to pay for my Ventures in installments?
A. The remaining balance of your Ventures must be paid no later than 30 days prior to our departure date. If full payment is not made by deadline your Venture will be post-poned. All funds will be applied for a future Ventures with Deb. If you need a payment plan to be arranged please email us at deb@thedebstandard.com for us to coordinate.
Solo Travelers
Q. Am I able to join the Ventures even as a solo traveler?
A. Absolutely! Please make note of this on your registration & we will work to pair you with a fellow solo traveler. If we cannot find you a Ventures partner you would have the option to pay a single supplement fee or opt to join us at a later date. Email us at deb@thedebstandard.com if you have further questions.
Travel Insurance
Q. Do I need travel insurance?
A. Yes, each guest will be required to purchase travel insurance for our ventures. In order for pre-existing conditions to be covered, the insurance must be purchased no later than 7 days from the date of initial deposit. Once confirmed for the trip - we will follow up with insurance options.
A. Travel insurance allows you to seek reimbursement for your trip costs if your plans change for unforeseeable reasons or if you need medical help - emergency transport or experience theft, loss or damage of items while traveling.
Leisure Time
Q. How much leisure time will we have?
A. Most of our Ventures will be done collectively as a group. Midway through our journey each guest will have their solo Travel Photoshoot Experience with the rest of the day for leisure time. You will be able to explore on your own, relax at the hotel or embark on our Journey Elevation Experiences.
Room Inquiries
Q. What will be the room grouping be?
A. Our Ventures is open to both ladies & gentlemen guests. We also welcome friends, solo travelers, family & more. If you are joining with your fellow travel partner they will be roomed with you. If you are a solo traveler we will partner our ladies in the same room & our gentlemen in the same room. Two people per room based on double occupancy.
A. If you wish to have your own private room you would have the option to pay a single supplement fee. Email us at deb@thedebstandard.com to make arrangements for such request.
Activity Level
Q. What is our activity level for our Ventures?
A. We have three diverse Ventures each will cater to three levels of activity levels. Most of our Ventures will include a fair amount of walking - exploring - discovering. Please review your desired Venture for its suggested activity level.
Age Requirement
Q. Is there an age requirement for our Ventures?
A. Yes, you must be over the age of 25+ to join any of our Ventures. Our experiences are curated for you young professionals. While our age limit isn't necessarily till 45, anyone who will be joining our Ventures should be comfortable walking for up to 3 hours & comfortable with a young vibrate ambiance.
Number of Travelers
Q. Is there a minimum number of participants required to run the trip?
A. Yes, we require a minimum of 2 participants to run each Ventures. (Deb Lifestyle Experiences Excluded - See Below).
Solo Ventures - Deb Lifestyle Experiences
Q. Deb, can I book a solo trip with you?
A. Yes! Coordinating a solo trip is part of our Deb Lifestyle Experiences which can be coordinated for a single day or for an entire trip. Any of our Ventures with Deb are also open to be booked as Private Lifestyle Experiences. - Deb Lifestyle Experiences to a Private Experience. Group Ventures - Deb Lifestyle Experiences
Q. Deb, can I book a Ventures exclusively for my group with you?
A. Yes! We can book a Ventures for up to 6 guests exclusively for your group! Enjoy an elevated experience with your favorite people. If you are looking for a bespoke curated Ventures for your group we can coordinate a Lifestyle Experience. Any of our Ventures with Deb are also open to be booked as Private Lifestyle Experiences. - Deb Lifestyle Experiences to a Private Experience. Waiting List
Q. If a journey is fully booked is there a waiting list?
A. Yes, a waiting list will be made available. You can also send us an email at deb@thedebstandard.com including your contact details, your desired venture & availability dates.
Packing List
Q. Will there be a packing list provided for our Ventures?
A. Yes! We will be sending each traveler a customized packing list - one for our ladies & one for our gentlemen of items to pack, shop & plan in order to be your most elevated selves!
